Standards:

UL 162 – Foam Equipment and Liquid Concentrates: Focuses on application effectiveness and provides third-party verification
NFPA 11 – Standard for Low-, Medium-, and High-Expansion Foam: testing of foam concentrates and proportioning systems with specific performance criteria.
LASTFIRE – Large Atmospheric Storage Tank Fires: Specialized test protocol developed by oil industry consortium for evaluating foam performance on large storage tank fires, using heptane fuel and tests different application methods.
